Catriona Jayasundera has a unique track-record of a career over 24 years in the Ports & Terminals industry and is the first female to reach a senior management position in the critical Marketing & Commercial function at the Port of Colombo.

Currently she is the Chief Commercial Officer at Colombo International Container Terminals Ltd. (CICT), a PPP project between the Sri Lanka Ports Authority and China Merchants Port Holdings (CMPort) which is one of the largest foreign direct investment of over USD500 million in the port and maritime industry in Sri Lanka,
Holding a Masters in Business Administration from the University of West London, A CIM qualified Chartered Marketer and former council member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport Sri Lanka, her career encompasses 3 years in the IT sector and over 24 years in the Ports and Terminals industry. She is the former President of the Women’s International Shipping and Trading Association of Sri Lankan which is the Sri Lanka arm of an International body that supports and promotes women in to management positions in the shipping and logistics industry.
