Steen Knudsen - CEO, South Asia Gateway Terminals (SAGT)

Mr. Steen Knudsen is Chief Executive Officer of South Asia Gateway Terminals (SAGT), Sri Lanka, and a seasoned maritime and logistics executive with more than 20 years of international leadership experience across Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. Prior to joining SAGT in 2025, he served as Managing Director of APM Terminals Apapa, Nigeria, and has held several senior leadership positions across the A.P. Moller–Maersk Group and APM Terminals. A transformational leader with a Master Mariner background, he is known for driving operational excellence, digital transformation, sustainability, and customer-focused growth in the global ports and logistics sector.
