- Mr. Zafir Hashim is the President of the Transportation and Plantation Sectors at John Keells Holdings (JKH), one of Sri Lanka’s leading diversified conglomerates. With over 23 years of experience within the Group, he plays a key strategic role and is a member of the JKH Group Executive Committee. Zafir holds a Master’s degree (MSc) in Chemical Engineering.

- Zafir has extensive experience in the petroleum and bunker industry, having held several leadership positions over his 23-year career. He served as the CEO of Lanka Marine Services, Sri Lanka’s largest bunker supplier, from 2005 to 2015 and continued his involvement with the company thereafter as a Director.

- Zafir also serves as a Director representing the Group across several subsidiary and associate companies. His oversight extends to organizations in the transportation and plantation sectors, including South Asia Gateway Terminals (SAGT), Colombo West International Terminal (CWIT), DHL, Maersk Lanka, and several other listed and unlisted entities.
